Bob Schulz



Robert (Dr. Bob) Schulz

"Dr. Bob" as he is affectionately known to students and alumni, has taught strategic management at the Haskayne School of Business since 1973. Prior to joining Haskayne, Bob was the Education Director for Management Horizons Data Systems in Columbus, Ohio, and is recognized around the world in both academic and professional circles for his practical approach to business. Bob has had a lifelong career of teaching business strategy and has received a multitude of outstanding teaching awards and inter collegiate business competition championships.

Bob teaches the capstone senior Business Strategy course for undergraduate students, Management Education for doctoral students, coached undergrad uate student intercollegiate competition teams to 73 national championships and ranked #1 or #2 for 32 consecutive years. His teams have won 2 world-level under graduate titles and 3 world-level MBA championships. Of approximately 39,000 Canadian professors, the 3M Teaching Fellowship recognizes Bob Schulz among the top 10.

Being a director or advisor to 5 public companies, 9 smaller private companies and 2 non-profit organizations, as lead Strategic Advisor to E2 Logistic Solutions, Bob brings an unprecedented breadth of business knowledge while his energy and enthusiasm can only be described as contagious.

 





James (Jim) V. Smith

After a decorated 11 year career, Jim retired from the Canadian Armed Forces as a journeyman mechanic.

Continuing with his passion for firefighting, Jim served as a Fire Chief and is routinely instructing fellow fire fighters throughout the MD of Foothills and surrounding
area.

Currently as MD Fire Chief in Foothills, Jim is intricately involved in the development of protocols for the strategic deployment and tactics of E2 modules and tractors. The knowledge gained in his military career as a tank specialist, coupled with exemplary performance in fire command, tactics and investigation, has resulted in Jim being well suited for his position as head of strategic field deployment for E2.
